Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho is reportedly closing in on a loan move to Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.
Sancho is set to leave United following a prolonged absence from the team since a dispute with manager Erik ten Hag in September.
The winger, acquired from Borussia Dortmund in 2021 for a significant £73 million, has not been part of United’s squad since the disagreement.
According to Sky Sports Germany, Borussia Dortmund is in discussions to bring Sancho back on a loan agreement. Additionally, West Ham United has shown interest in the English international.
The potential deal involves Dortmund paying a loan fee, while Manchester United would contribute towards Sancho’s substantial £350,000 weekly wages.
Sancho, who previously excelled in the Bundesliga with 50 goals in 137 appearances, is believed to prefer a return to Germany.
The move could see him at Dortmund’s training facility imminently, marking a significant shift in his career trajectory.
