New manager Paul Sturrock was impressed enough with the 18 year old to offer him a 2 year contract with the League One side.
“I’m really proud to commit my future to the football club,” said Crawford.
“The end of last season was brilliant for me. Getting some playing time for the first team and to get my first goal was nice. Hopefully I can now carry on under the new manager.”
