Cresswell believes Micky Adams is the right man to lead the club to safety this season, despite of failing to record a win since taking over as Blades manager in late December.
“We are all trying hard and working for him,” said Cresswell. “He is the right man for the job and we have to stick behind him.
“He is definitely the right man to get us out of this. There is a long way to go and everybody knows that the table now won’t necessarily stay like that until the end of the season.
“There will be some twists and turns before the end.
“It is hard because we have gone a lot of games without winning a match. But we have to keep believing and a lot of things do change in football.”
