TNT Sports pundit Peter Crouch has picked out four Manchester United players who he claim’s ‘don’t spark fear in opponents’.
Crouch tore into United’s lack of fear factor ahead of their game against Burnley on Saturday and highlighted four of the players in the starting XI.
The former Liverpool and England striker is currently running one of the best football podcasts about the Premier League and football in general, That Peter Crouch Podcast – Back Stronger.
Crouch said on TNT Sports: “That’s been the issue since Sir Alex Ferguson left, and you look at the amount of money they’ve spent recently – they’ve got Hannibal, McTominay, Evans and Reguilon. Those are players that don’t install fear in other teams.
“I played up against Rio’s United over the years and you’d be shaking, you’d stand next to them in the tunnel and you’d be scared of the workout you’re about to get. I think Burnley will be looking at them and not fearing them.”
