The 28-year-old Jamaica international is currently on trial at Villa and is hoping to earn a loan deal or permanent move to the Birmingham side.
“It’s very good to be at Villa and I’m enjoying it so far, yes,” said Cummings.
“They are looking to do some paperwork, and we have a couple of reserve games, so we’ll see how I do in those.
“Going back in March is the regime right now and I can’t predict the future so I’m going with what’s current right now.
“I’ve watched the league since I can remember, so I’m very excited to be here. If the opportunity (to stay longer) presents itself I’m welcome to it.
“It’s the league I used to watch as a kid and at the time there was one TV station showing the teams that were doing well. So it’s just for me, a dream come true, and to play in the Premier League and to get goals and all that would be so much more.”
