The 28-year-old’s current contract at Crystal Palace is set to expire at the end of the season and the midfielder has so far failed to agree a new deal with the club.
“We’re just negotiating the contract at the moment,” he told the Croydon Advertiser.
“I know people are worried but I have no intention of leaving.
“It’s just one of those things. Speculation always happens when a player nears the end of a contract, but it doesn’t mean I’m going anywhere.
“We’re talking and these things don’t happen instantly.”
