His contract with the club expire at the end of this season, but a new deal could be agreed within a couple of weeks.
Davies told Sky Sports News: “They’re obviously talking and it’s not too far away now. Hopefully, something will be tied up in the next couple of weeks.
“I’m playing consistently now for the fourth season and I’m happy off the pitch. The football is great as well and since I’ve been here we’ve been a top-eight side, so I can’t ask for any more really.”
