Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong has hinted that he could be open for a potential switch to Manchester United.
But De Jong insists he is happy at Barcelona, despite leaving the door open for a new challenge, according to the Daily Express.
De Jong told NOS: “Possibly [a new challenge interests me]. But I am very satisfied at Barcelona. It’s always difficult to say. For now, I feel good here.”
De Jong came close to joining United in a £72million deal, when Erik ten Hag took over as United manager in the summer of 2022.
But De Jong decided to reject the move, as he preferred staying in Spain.
