Los Che had failed to win in their three previous league game before their win over Racing.
He told Super Deporte: “It was important to win. We knew it would be a difficult game, as Racing would put us under pressure, but we played a serious match and we got a win.
“Now for the next two weeks we have a little more peace of mind.”
Dealbert admits he is happy with the distance between themselves and Villarreal and Atletico Madrid on the Primera Division table.
He added: “It’s good to have a significant distance with Villarreal, it’s now eight points and the greater distance we can put between us and them the better, because it is a long season and who knows what might happen.”
