Denilson told the Sun: “The age of the squad is a positive thing and I do believe that it can play in our favour.
“If we can keep combining the irreverence of younger players with the experience of some of the older guys we can be really tough to beat.
“And within the team, all the players are focused on the objectives we have for this season, which is winning titles.
“There is no doubt that we have what it takes to not only win the Premier League but also to win the Champions League.”
Denilson joined Arsenal for £3.4million from Brazilian side Sao Paulo in August 2006.
