“The lack of goals is a worry for all of us. It is not just a problem for the forwards, but for the whole team,” he told Radio Marca.
“For instance against Mallorca, I had a very clear scoring opportunity with my head but I failed to take it, while my teammates also had their fair share of chances.
“We really deserved a goal in that game. We played well and created plenty of chances, but I think if we can at least maintain that, the goals will come soon.”
Guardado said of their clash against Valencia on Sunday: “They are a team who leaves a lot of spaces and they like to play the ball, and that can work to our advantage.
“It will be a very important game for us and we will try to get the best possible result.”
