The 27-year-old has been linked with a move to Spanish giants Sevilla.
“We will meet him very soon,” Bordeaux chairman Jean-Louis Triaud told L’Equipe.
“In the next few days Alou will sign a new deal and we are very happy about that.”
Diarra is reported to be signing a deal that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2013.
