Diego joined the Old Lady in a £20million move from Werder Bremen, but has struggled with a muscular problem recently.
“Now that I have resolved my injury worries, I am counting on 100 per cent fitness for the start of the season and on top form for early September,” he told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I am convinced that with this side we can aim for the very top of this sport, as we can win the Scudetto and the Champions League.
“That is even more important when we consider this is Juventus – a team that can never be content just to take part.”
