Donati was owned by the Rossoneri from 2001 to 2007, but spent most of the time away on loan.
Donati joined Bari from Scottish giants Celtic over the summer.
“We are going there to play our game,” said the ex-Celtic midfielder. “They are strong, but we have already proved that we can have our say against any opponent.
“I was not here for the 1-1 draw with Inter, but I saw that my teammates had no fear in showing what they could do.”
“They may be in crisis, but they remain Milan and have very important players. We have to focus on doing well and relying on what we do best,” continued Donati.
“I am happy here, have settled into the squad and assimilated with the style of football. Now I know what the Coach wants and sometimes it all goes perfectly, others less so, such as against Cagliari.”
