He told The Sun: “I am scoring consistently now and if you ask me do I want to be honoured, I will say yes.
“But I think the entire team has improved tremendously. It’s not a Drogba thing.
“I have a target every season to take my game to a higher level.
“The quality of my game has also improved as the team plays better. But it’s just a case of hard work and maturity.
“In 2004, when I came from the Olympic Games to join Chelsea I needed to adjust to a new environment and learn how to play in a new set-up.
“But as time goes on you learn. Drogba is only one player. Others make a team.”
