Nicolas Anelka headed home a cross from Florent Malouda who had been setup by Yuri Zhirkov.
“I think you have to credit Yuri, he was at the beginning of the goal and it was good by Flo, his vision is very good and he made the right decision to give it to Nico,” Drogba told Sky Sports.
“It was very important to finish top of the group and to win here. It’s really nice.
“It was difficult for me after being out for two weeks to come in in a game like this. It’s not easy but it was good to have a run.”
