“I’m often on the telephone with his right-hand man Bernard Lacombe, who asks me how it’s going at Chelsea and whether I’d be interested in returning to play in France one day.
“But I have become an undroppable player for Chelsea.
“When I arrived from Marseille, it was as if I was a complete unknown, but I have contributed to the two Premiership titles and I have imposed my personality and my game on the Chelsea team.”
