The 24-year-old’s current contract is due to expire next summer, but the Dutchman has been offered a new deal by the club.
“I have talked with Rik van den Boog (general director of Ajax) and received a new offer,” confirmed Emanuelson.
“Within two weeks I will decide to extend my deal or leave on a Bosman.
“The fans play a role in the decision. I am a real Ajax man, but I have to really think about it.”
