The Three Lions only managed a goalless draw in their Euro 2012 qualifier with Montenegro on Tuesday.
“We knew it wasn’t going to be an easy game. They came and sat behind the ball and counter-attacked and we knew they were going to do that,” the Aston Villa winger told Sky Sports News.
“Unfortunately we didn’t get the win but it’s another point.”
