The Maltese international could be on his way to England, after he turned down a new contract offer from the Norwegian club.
The 25-year-old told Norway’s TV2: “This [contract] offer was better than the last one, and they gave me ten days to consider it, but there’s not really much to think about.
Mifsud’s agent Mark Taylor said: “Now the season is over, we’re hoping for something to happen within the next few weeks.”
