Sky Sports claim the 25-year-old Scot will jet out to Sapin for talks with the Primera Liga outfit.
Preston, Sheffield Wednesday and Blackpool have also been linked with Fotheringham.
Fotheringham is a free agent as his contract at Carrow Road has expired.
