The 21-year-old Brazilian defender has signed a five-year contract with Espanyol.
A statement on the club’s official website said: “Felipe Mattioni has committed to Espanyol for the next five seasons. The agreement will be fully valid on Wednesday after passing the corresponding exam.
“He will then be moved to our stadium where he will be presented as a new player.”
