“I think that Nicolas should get a very good reception. He is an extremely talented player,” Evans told Sky Sports News.
“When we arrived as I say in late October, early November last season Nicolas, you only have to see him in training to realise that he is a class act.
“He left as a top scorer in the Premier League. As we see he’s managed to replicate that again this season at almost the same stage. Nicolas has made the decision that he wanted to leave. We’ve had to move on as equally he has.
“From a reception point of view from the supporters I’d like to think they’d issue due respect. I’m sure that before the game they’ll be shaking hands, but they won’t be during the 90 minutes.”
