Everton have announced the signing of Youssef Chermiti from Portuguese side Sporting CP.
The 19-year-old has signed a four-year contract, which will see him stay with the Premier League outfit until the summer of 2027.
The Portugal U19 international made 22 appearances in all competitions for Sporting last season and moves to Everton for an undisclosed fee.
Everton manager Sean Dyche said: “Youssef is a talented young striker who can add a different dimension to our squad.
“He is still a teenager who is learning his game, which we will be mindful of, but we think he has the raw talent and ingredients to be a very good player and that’s why we are pleased to have signed him for Everton.”
