The England Under-21 international has long been linked with a summer move to Old Trafford.
He told Sky Sports: “You can’t really pay that [the transfer rumours] any attention, you can’t let off-the-field antics affect you on the pitch so you just have to have to concentrate on your own game.
“As long as you have got the right people around, which I have, it is easy to put to the back of your mind.
“Obviously it’s flattering, but like I said I just put it to the back of my mind and I am playing for Everton Football Club and I will always give 100 per cent for them.
“I am an Everton football and I enjoy playing for Everton so I am happy to do that.”
