Toffees boss David Moyes has revealed that he is keen to bring in the 30-year-old Atletico Madrid striker.
“If he was interested I would give him a home, yes,” said Moyes.
“We’ve played with one arm tied behind our back with what we’ve got but I hope to make some additions in January. The ones who come in will be on loan.
“I think with those plus the players coming back, there will be a swell that will take us into the second half of the season.”
