Chelsea have joined Premier League rivals Newcastle United and Manchester United in the chase for Atalanta starlet Giorgio Scalvini.
As we reported in December, Newcastle and Manchester United have had scouts keeping an eye on Scalvini, but they now face competition from rivals Chelsea, according to Ontheminute.com sources.
The 20-year-old’s contract at Atalanta is set to expire in the summer of 2028, but it is expected that the youngster could leave the club already this summer.
Scalvini has become a key player for Atalanta since breaking into their squad two years ago.
The young defender has previously also been linked with the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester City and Bayern Munich.
Chelsea are keen to add Scalvini to their ranks this summer and hope to get ahead of their rivals for his signature by launching an early £35million bid.
