The 18-year-old has made several impressive performances with Ajax this season and is expected to have a bright future.
Arsenal have previously been linked with the midfielder, who has been named in Denmark coach Morten Olsen’s final 23-man squad for the World Cup this summer.
Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp has reportedly recommended the Danish international to Arsene Wenger.
Eriksen said last month: “I’ve also read the rumours linking me with Arsenal and Barcelona, but that is all they are: Rumors. People are free to write whatever they want, but I have not been in touch with any of these clubs. I’m too young to leave Ajax for a European giant yet.”
But Manchester United are also keeping tabs on Eriksen’s situation at Ajax and could make a move.
Eriksen signed a new contract with Ajax in April, that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2014.
