The Gunners will face United in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
“I respect United for what they have achieved in the last few years. For me, they are still the best,” Fabregas said in The Sun.
“But I am not scared of them. At Arsenal, we are not scared of anyone and the way we play shows that. We might not have the same experience as United or Chelsea but I am not concerned about that. I don’t mind at all.
“We have the confidence, the illusion and the excitement to play. We always try to go forward and have a direct, aggressive way of playing on the counter-attack.
“For such a young team it is quite unbelievable the way we approach these big games and we will look to do the same against United in the Champions League and against Chelsea in the FA Cup.
“We have some huge games coming up and now it is all about winning. Every time we don’t win a trophy it is a major disappointment. But we’re not even thinking about that.”
