Falcao signed for Monaco this summer and will hope to challenge Ibrahimovic at Paris St Germain, although the Swede faces competition from the probable arrival in Paris of Edinson Cavani.
“I would love to be the top scorer”, he told reporters at his official unveiling with the principality club. “I will fight for it, but the key is to achieve our collective goals.
“I especially want to score as many goals as are needed to make Monaco champions. And if I score a lot to achieve this goal, I will be delighted.”
