He told Adresseavisen: “Had the match been today, I would say that we are favourites because it will be played in Copenhagen. But it is completely open, and it is difficult to predict what will happen in the two clubs until December.”
“We have not had the same stability as we have had in the past two years, while Rosenborg has shown progress recently.”
Solbakken also commented on reports that he believes four to five of the Danish teams are better than the best in Norway.
He added: “I have never said that four to five Danish teams are better than the best Norwegian, and do not believe it.”
“But I still think that Superligaen is better than Eliteserien. Simply because the best teams remains stable at the top every season, while it is far more unpredictable in Norway. That is a sign of strenght for Denmark.”
