The 31-year-old has been linked with a move to Turkish side Fenerbahce this summer.
He told Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung: “I think I am going to stay on.
“I am under contract with VfL Wolfsburg and I like being at the club.
“Still I have not yet spoken to the manager. I need to know his point of view on my situation.”
