The 21-year-old’s current contract is set to expire next summer and he has recently been linked with a move to FC Twente.
“I’ve been clear – I will not sign on (at Feyenoord), even if I do not get away this summer,” he told NUSport.
“My agent is keeping all foreign interest now, since I would prefer to continue to develop in the Netherlands.
“Since the club can earn millions for me now, they are better off letting me go to Twente.
“I only have one year left on my contract. If they can still get millions for me, they should do.”
Feyenoord technical director Martin van Geel said: “We prefer to keep Fer here. Only if the financial gain or loss transcends the sport will we let him go – and preferably not to a competitor.”
