The 41-year-old will now work with new Spurs boss Harry Redknapp at White Hart Lane.
“I will speak to Les, I want to bring Les in to do a bit of coaching and Les can work with the strikers,” said Redknapp on Sky Sports News.
“I think it’s great to do that. I did it a few years ago at Portsmouth with Yakubu, I brought Luther Blissett in.
“Luther came in and worked with Yakubu when the Yak was going through a bit of a barren spell the season he came.
“But, from working with him, he had an amazing finish to the season and he got 14 goals in the last 16 games or something like that.
“He enjoyed working with Luther and Les can come in and work with the strikers here and be a big help to them.”
