Ferdinand has played all eight of the club’s league games this season, but manager Steve Bruce is not happy with the defender’s laid-back style, according to The Sun.
Ferdinand joined Sunderland in a £8million deal from West ham in August 2008.
It is believed Bruce wants around the same fee in return when he sells Ferdinand.
