“Tuesday’s performance (against Celtic) obviously does us a lot of good and it’s good for the consistency,” said Ferguson on Sky Sports News.
“The form of the team has now come together and we’re looking strong and playing some good football. Both sides of our game are good – we’re defending well and our attacking has improved, so I’m very, very pleased with the form of the team.
“We go to Everton and it’s always a difficult game, a derby game. The pitch is terrific and it is a good atmosphere there.
“It should be a good game. We have had a couple of really good battles there in the last two years.
“Last year, we just edged through 1-0 with a late goal from Vidic, and the previous year coming back from 2-0 down and winning 4-2 was a fantastic performance and I think that sealed the league for us that day.”
