Rooney swore at the camera after scoring a penalty and Ferguson, who has been in trouble with the FA a number of times for criticising officials, has now taken a swipe at Mason.
“I think he (Mason) was put under pressure…it’s hard to imagine a referee would send a player off for scoring a hat-trick.”
