Ferreira has three years left of his contract with the Blues, but has previously been linked with a move away from the club.
“I have a deal with Chelsea that runs until 2013 and my idea is to see that out and to then leave football, but this sport is unpredictable,” he told Maisfutebol.
“If I finish that deal I will be 34 and it is difficult to find another club then, so this has always been my intention since I signed the deal (in 2008).
“Rumours about a possible exit were false as I have always considered Chelsea to be my home as I have always had great support here.
“I am a player that has always given his all to his club, at Porto and here. I am a professional in all aspects. When I am able to look back on my career I will be content.
“I have been able to win many important titles and I am happy with what I have achieved.”
