De Guzman came close to joining Valencia in August, but the move fell through due to financial reasons.
Voetbal International claims the Spanish side will give it another try in the January transfer window.
“Valencia have kept in touch with Jonathan after the transfer collapsed and they keep on telling him that they are convinced of his qualities,” said Jan de Visser, De Guzman’s agent.
“He’s really happy with Valencia’s behaviour, as he knows that they are still interested in him. He would be more than happy to join Valencia in January.”
