Van Haaren suffered the injury at Feyenoord’s training camp in Marbella, Spain, earlier this week.
“Ricky van Haaren is certainly not usable for Feyenoord for six weeks,” read a statement on Feyenoord’s official website.
“The midfielder has a torn ankle ligament, as is shown by tests at the hospital.”
