The 20-year-old’s current contract with Feyenoord is set to expire in the summer of 2012 and he has recently been linked with move to the likes of Twente and PSV Eindhoven.
“It is not easy to make a decision. Ajax? That would not go down too well [in Rotterdam] and is not something I want. I still remember how Luis Figo was treated when he left Barcelona for Real Madrid,” Wijnaldum told Algemeen Dagblad.
“I have always said that I would make a decision after the last match of the season. I understand that the fans want clarity, but I have not made a final decision yet.”
