Cavani has managed to score 11 goals in 29 appearances for Palermo this season.
“Edison is having a great season and it is just natural that there are plenty of Italian and foreign clubs interested,” noted Bernardo Brovarone.
“Fiorentina have always rated him highly and if the Sicilians were up for selling him then I am sure Pantaleo Corvino would want to try and sign him, like he has already done in the past.”
