Hleb is currently on loan at Wolfsburg from Spanish giants Barcelona.
Reports have suggested that Barcelona are ready to cancel the midfielder’s contract, which could see Hleb join Wolfsburg on a permanent basis.
He told Kicker: “I’d like to stay on in Germany, even after the end of my career.
“I am loving life in Germany; I have really enjoyed my time here. I am looking forward to settling in this country.”
