The 21-year-old has signed a deal that will see him join Parma in June this year.
The Uruguayan defender’s agent, Paolo Montero, has confirmed the news to Radio Sport 890.
Aguirregaray has previously been linked with the likes of Napoli, Inter Milan, Udinese and Manchester United.
