The 29-year-old Odense star is reportedly set to hold talks over a free transfer move to the Premier league side.
Odense coach Lars Olsen said: “Eric will not be involved (against Randers) because we have allowed him to travel abroad.
“It is for personal reasons which we cannot say more about.”
