Flores joined the UAE Pro-League club on a short-term deal in November, but has now decided to extend his deal.
“Quique Flores has put pen to paper to extend his contract at @AlAhliClub for one more season,” club chairman Abdullah Al Nabooda wrote on Twitter.
Al Ahli chief executive Ahmad Khalifa has hailed Flores as the best coach to ever have worked in the UAE.
