Fulham could make a move for James should Arsenal decide to make a move for Mark Schwarzer.
The Fulham goalkeeper has also been linked with a move to Bundesliga giants Wolfsburg.
Schwarzer has one year left on his contract at Fulham and it is believed Fulham want around £4million for the keeper, according to the Daily Mail.
