The Cottagers managed to beat Blackpool 3-0 last week and managed a 2-2 draw in London against United in August.
He told the club’s official website: “The match against United is arguably the game of the season.
“Manchester United are the team that everyone wants to beat.
“Old Trafford is one of those special grounds, but we’re not going there as tourists, we’re going there with genuine ambitions of doing well.
“We’ve done well against them at the Cottage, but not so well at their place – so it is about time that we came away with something. We’re playing well at the moment, so I can see no reason why we can’t.”
