He told Fulhamfc.com: “When the Manager told me I was going to be rested last weekend obviously I was disappointed. It was the first weekend I’ve had off and I feel fantastic now. Hopefully I’ll be back in the team against Manchester United. Obviously I want to play and the Manager knows that too.
“I think I’ve been involved in every single game and there aren’t many players who can say that. I’ve played the most minutes in the Premiership. Obviously I was upset last week because I want to play in the big games but the Manager knows best. I feel great now and pretty happy that I’ve had a break.”
Cottagers boss Coleman said of Rosenior: “He’s a smashing lad and his commitment and enthusiasm are second to none. We’ve nowhere near seen the best of him yet. He’s a bright prospect not only for us, but potentially for his country, and I’m looking forward to seeing what he achieves over the next few years.”
