Massimmo Moratti indicated last night after the game that Gasperini was not in control of the team, as pressure builds on his position.
Gasperini said: “This is a very big blow. [But] I believe strongly in my job. This is a very difficult test, which I’ve got to resolve.”
Reports this morning are suggesting that Gasperini has now been sacked.
